We began as Safety Lighting in 1992, supplying light bulbs and ballasts to New York's commercial and residential real estate markets. Under the leadership of President Elias Strum, the company quickly became a dynamic supplier of quality products and grew exponentially over the next decade. In 2002, Jesse Berland joined the team, adding new energy and ideas. Today, Safety Lighting supplies everything from light bulbs and ballasts to fixtures, lighting consulting services and electrical maintenance.
Next Mr. Strum founded Safety Building Cleaning. Hiring professionals that had previously worked for him for over 25 years, he quickly established this firm, too, as a prominent force in the industry.
Safety Building Services continued expanding when Joe Kelly joined to head up the Safety Security business. With over 25 years in law enforcement and security, Mr. Kelly quickly became a valuable asset to the organization. He has served as Safety's Security Director for 10 years, conducting security assessments for clients and ensuring the highest quality of service.
